Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the MySociety AI platform, including its WhatsApp assistant and web services (the "Service").

1. The Service

MySociety AI provides community-management tooling for residential societies: resident communication via WhatsApp, complaint tracking, notices, and financial transparency reporting for residents' associations.

2. Acceptable Use

• Use the Service only for lawful society-related purposes.
• Do not send abusive, unlawful, or spam content through the assistant.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to data of other residents or societies.

3. Messaging Consent

By messaging the society's WhatsApp number or providing your number to your residents' association for society communications, you consent to receive service-related messages. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of non-essential notifications.

4. Accuracy of Information

Reports and AI-generated responses are provided in good faith to assist your residents' association, but the association remains responsible for official decisions, accounts, and records. AI responses may contain errors; verify important matters with your society office.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software and content (excluding society data), is owned by MySociety AI and protected by applicable laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MySociety AI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Termination

We may suspend access for misuse. Residents' associations may terminate the Service per their agreement with us.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
